7 New Attractions in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville to Keep an Eye Out For
You already know there’s always something new and exciting happening in the Smoky Mountain area! It’s our job to give you all the details on what’s coming soon. Pigeon Forge and Sevierville will be home to some new additions that will make the area that much more fun for both visitors and locals! Want to see what’s coming soon to the area? Here are 7 new attractions in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville to keep an eye out for:
1. Skyland Ranch
Sevierville is getting a one-of-a-kind entertainment venue! Skyland Ranch is set on a 100 acre farm and will combine all of your favorite things about the Smoky Mountains into one attraction. To get to the top, visitors will ride in a chairlift that offers both chairs and open-air cabins. At the top, there’ll be gorgeous views, the longest mountain coaster, a suspended bridge, canopy walks, and more. A highlight of the attraction will be the miniature animals, including miniature cows and donkeys, which are all rescue animals! More things to do at Skyland Ranch will include a bakery, a candy kitchen, retail shops, and live entertainment.
Skyland Ranch is slated to open late summer of 2022.
2. Azul Cantina
Azul Cantina will bring the first rooftop bar to Pigeon Forge! This new restaurant will put a flavorful twist on traditional Tex-Mex dining using wood-fire grilling methods in traditional Mexican cooking styles with roots from South America to Texas. All of the recipes at Azul Cantina will be made from scratch with authentic ingredients! But let’s talk about the star of this new restaurant: the rooftop bar. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from the first rooftop bar in Pigeon Forge that has homemade cerveza-style lager and hand-crafted cocktails.
Azul Cantina is slated to open late 2022.
3. 407: The Gateway to Adventure
Have you heard about the 200-acre development project in Sevierville? 407: The Gateway to Adventure is intended to celebrate the adventures of an American Road Trip. It will be a place for travelers to stop as they’re passing through, as well as its own sought-after destination! So far, the attraction will feature the world’s largest Buc-ee’s Family Travel Center and a one-of-a-kind themed show. There are also plans for shops, restaurants, unique photo-ops, and more.
The first opening at 407: The Gateway to Adventure is planned for late 2022 or 2023.
4. Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay
This is one of the new attractions in Pigeon Forge that we’re most excited about — Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay . Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay will bring an “epic miniature golf adventure” to Pigeon Forge. While not many details about this attraction have been released, visitors can expect a unique under-the-sea mini golf experience with mermaid and pirate fun at every hole.
An opening date for Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay has yet to be announced, but construction began in May 2022.
5. Pinchy’s Lobster & Beer Co.
In the mood for the freshest seafood in the Smoky Mountains? Pinchy’s Lobster and Beer Co. will provide just that! This new restaurant will be located in downtown Sevierville and include a raw bar, outdoor beer garden, an outdoor stage for live music, fire pits, and more. On the menu, you’ll find signature lobster rolls, lobster ramen, lobster pot pie, a lobster sushi roll, and so many more options. You’ve never seen anything like it in Sevierville.
Pinchy’s Lobster & Beer Co. will open on October 5, 2022.
6. FlyRide at Beyond the Lens!
If you love SkyFly at The Island, you’ll love this new attraction in Pigeon Forge! FlyRide is a virtual flying experience that will take riders above America’s most popular landmarks. You’ll soar over mountaintops and skim over lakes in a suspended, free-floating ride. The full motion seats will dip, turn, and soar as you keep your eyes on a giant 4-story curved screen.
FlyRide at Beyond the Lens! is expected to open sometime in 2022.
7. Iron Forge Brewing Company
Another exciting new place coming to Sevierville is Iron Forge Brewing Company . This new brewery will feature award-winning beers, cocktails, delicious food, and more. It sits on a 4-acre lot that will include the 25,000 sq ft brewery, an indoor tasting room, an outdoor patio, and an enclosed beer garden that will offer views of LeConte and the Little Pigeon River.
Iron Forge Brewing Company is expected to open in the summer of 2022.
