When a new restaurant comes to the Smoky Mountains, everyone wants to try it! We want to share some of the new restaurants in Pigeon Forge and the Smokies coming to the area soon! Look at these 6 new restaurants in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains you’ll love:
You may have heard about the Mountain Mile, a new shopping and entertainment complex that is coming to Pigeon Forge. One of the newest restaurants coming to the Mountain Mile is the Cream & Sugar Sweet Shoppe . They will serve scooped and hand rolled ice cream in a variety of flavors. You will be able to choose an ice cream base, some mix-ins, and then watch as your ice cream is rolled into ribbons. Then you can choose what toppings you want to go on top! Cream & Sugar Sweet Shoppe will also serve different kinds of sweets made by confectioners on staff. The atmosphere will feel upscale with a vintage twist. We can’t wait to try their sweet treats!
Another new restaurant in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains is Dulce Nitrogen Ice Cream . This is a unique shop because their ice cream is frozen using liquid nitrogen. Choose your base, which is vanilla, chocolate, or mint. Then pick some mix ins, such as peanut butter, pumpkin spice, or fruity pebbles. Your mix ins and base will be combined in a bowl, then frozen with liquid nitrogen. Then you top it with nuts, candy, or fruit. Eat your ice cream from a bowl, or try a new way with the bubble waffle cone! Not only does Dulce Nitrogen have ice cream, they also serve bubble tea. If you’ve never heard of bubble tea, it is fruit or milk based tea with little flavored balls in the bottom of the drink. They also serve coffee.
Ice cream must be popular this year! Buzzed Bull Creamery is a new restaurant in Pigeon Forge serving ice cream, but the concept is a little different. Their ice cream is also frozen using liquid nitrogen, but you have the option to add alcohol to your ice cream if you are at least 21 years old. Everything is made to order, so you know it will be fresh. Can’t decide which flavor sounds the best? Buzzed Bull has ice cream flights that allow you to taste your way around the menu! You can choose to create your own concoction or try one of the specialties on the menu.
Moving from ice cream into savory foods, another new restaurant in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains you should look forward to is The Smokehouse Brewery at Anakeesta. Slated to open in the summer of 2020, this restaurant will be serving southern barbeque, from baby back ribs to pulled pork. The dining area space will accommodate around 300 guests, nearly doubling the amount of seating currently at Anakeesta. Enjoy your meal from a glass-enclosed, climate-controlled indoor area or a spacious outdoor patio where you can look out at the mountains. This restaurant will serve local craft beers at an inside bar and a walk-up window.
Although an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, a new location of Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy will be coming to the Smokies! If you love chicken, this will definitely be a place where you need to stop. Grab a plate of chicken tenders or the signature chicken sandwich and your choice of sauces. Some of the sauces you can try include the Chicken Guy Special Sauce, Donkey Sauce, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ, Lemon Pepper, and Peri Peri. You can also get salads, other kinds of sandwiches, fries, mac and cheese, or fried pickles.
If getting up for brunch is one of your favorite things to do, then you need to visit this new restaurant in Gatlinburg called Ruby Sunshine . Try the southern breakfast, which includes eggs, bacon, grits, and a fried green tomato. They have omelets, eggs benedict, french toast, and pancakes. If you’re wanting a little heartier meal, get the creole reuben sandwich or the migas, a Tex Mex breakfast scramble. Ruby Sunshine also serves all kinds of mimosas, including their signature with orange juice, pomegranate, and sparkling wine. You’ll also find bloody marys, margaritas, and Irish coffee.
