3. Tennessee Shine Company Moonshine Tour
One attraction you will want to try, especially if you’re 21 years old and up, is Tennessee Shine Company’s Moonshine Tour. This is the only moonshine tour of its kind in the Smokies! You’ll get to learn about the origin of moonshine, its role in the Smokies, and how it is tied to Nascar! You’ll love making your way through the interactive tour, and at the end, you’ll be able to taste some of the unique flavors from Tennessee Shine Company!
4. Bluff Mountain Adventures
Thrill seekers will want to explore the Smokies in a unique way, and Bluff Mountain Adventures can give that to you! Race through the mountains on ATVs and enjoy incredible views of the mountains along your guided ride. Kids and adults will love flying through the trees and being outdoors at Bluff Mountain Adventures!
5. Outdoor Adventure Park
Outdoor Adventure Park is one of the attractions in the Smoky Mountains off the beaten path you won’t want to skip. Your whole family will enjoy learning how to go zorbing at this unique adventure park! Hop into one of the zorbs, a huge clear plastic ball with water inside, and then you’ll race down the hill! You’ll feel like you’re racing down a water slide! Up to 3 people can fit in a single zorb, and you get to choose from 3 different tracks to race down. If you love to get your adrenaline going, you don’t want to miss out on zorbing!
6. The Mountain Monster Rides
A few activities off the beaten path you won’t want to miss are The Mountain Monster rides at The Mountain Mile in Pigeon Forge. These are the ultimate attractions for thrill seekers since your adrenaline will be pumping and your heart will be racing! The Monster Fall takes you up a 200 foot tower strapped into the seat with a lap belt and nothing else to hold onto, and you don’t know when you’re going to drop all the way down! On Monster Launch, riders sit back to back and are launched straight up into the air where they will feel negative Gs, and you might even flip at the top. The biggest and baddest ride is The Monster Dive. You’ll ride to the top of the 200 foot tall tower on an elevator and switch into the dive cart. The platform underneath the cart moves away, and riders are tilted to face the ground. The cart is released into a free fall sensation and then swings over a water feature. Any thrill seeker won’t want to miss out on experiencing The Mountain Monster rides!
7. Gatlinburg Pinball Machine Museum
Another attraction in the Smoky Mountains that is unlike any other is the Gatlinburg Pinball Machine Museum! You’ll find all kinds of vintage pinball games in the museum you can play, including a Lord of the Rings themed game! There are also classic arcade games and modern games you will have fun playing!
