The Old Mill Square is the perfect place to spend a relaxed afternoon in Pigeon Forge. This is where you and your family can find a variety of unique shops, storefronts, and restaurants, as well as where you can find one of the oldest working grist mills in the Smoky Mountains, The Old Mill.
However, it is not The Old Mill that has earned The Old Mill Square a spot on our list of the best kid-friendly things to do in Pigeon Forge for free. It is the lively ducks that also call the square home that make this a great way to spend the afternoon.
You and your kids will love taking an old loaf of bread or a few dinner rolls left over from the night before and watching as the ducks splash and swim to race each other for the crumbs.
