We loved our stay at Rocky Raccoon. It was quiet and peaceful. Great place. Everything was as expected.

This is our third time renting with Hearthside and we have always been very satisfied. We will definitely book again.

everything went great as usual check-in was easy, staff was great, even checking on us with winter weather expected, cabin was beautiful and clean THE SNOW JUST ADDED TO THE BEAUTY. We loved the Rocky Raccoon. My wife and I stayed here on our first anniversary and enjoyed the Smoky Mountains. The place was well taken care of and the hot tub was hot when we got there. We will definitely recommend Hearthside rental company to our friends and family. We hope to stay with this company again on our future trips to the area.

The process was very simple. There was always someone available to answer questions.

I had a hard time picking what company to go with. So glad we chose Hearthside! My boyfriend and I stayed at Rocky Raccoon and we've already decided this is the cabin we are renting every year. Overall the company is great! Super friendly, easy to book and we did the express check in. Can't wait to book with Hearth side next year!

Very friendly staff. Cabin was nice, however the material on the sofa and chair was very dingy. Needed a good cleaning. Also lights were out on hot tub as well as a porch light so area was pitch black at night. Otherwise great stay.

We absolutely love this cabin...our 2nd stay. The only issue was the air conditioner was not working properly...luckily it wasn't too warm outside. We will definitely stay again!

Loved our stay! One thing that would have helped would have been having simple instructions for the hot tub. We accidentally changed the tub mode and couldn't figure it how to get the heater back on. Simple internet search helped, but it took awhile to figure out what had happened in the first place. We will definitely book another trip soon!

We loved the cabin, it was not very clean when we arrived there was stick green stuff on the night stands beside the bed. From a drink spilling would be my guess. So I know things weren't wiped down before we arrived. We were only given one roll of toilet tissue for our 4 night stay. We also thought we had a pool avaible for our use, which no one could give us directions to? Even called the office to get directions must have been forgotten? Overall we had a great time! There were a couple things I mentioned that could have been better. We were still very pleased with our stay.

We loved Rocky Racoon but the water smelled like sewage.... You never questioned... You quickly moved us to another cabin. I have already posted pics and your website on my Facebook recommending you !

The booking and check in were easy. The cabin was lovely, the decor very cute. The rate was good. Very comfortable bed, WE really loved the hot tub and the privacy screen around it. However, I did want to tell you that we found a dead bug in the bathtub on the day of our departure. My husband tells me in was a roach. That did freak me out a little. We packed all of our clothing in plastic bags and went straight to the laundromat to wash before we went home. I think you will want to check out the cabin.

The cabin was great. The view was not what expected but overall iur stay was enjoyable.

Adorable cabin, very clean, made for a perfect long weekend. Absolutely loved the porch, sitting outside every morning and evening listening to nature.

The cabin was everything I had hoped for. Clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable as well. We did notice some carpenter bees on the deck area but we know they are non agressive and didn't bother us.

Nothing beats the experience of walking into Rocky Raccoon Cabin for the first time. The quaint charm of this lovely studio cabin had us caught in the grasp of pure delight. Delightfully decorated with care and love by its owner and immaculately clean and fresh. A truly wonderful place to relax and feel as if we were at home in the mountains. Sitting on the porch having morning coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountains was breathtaking. Something we could get used to in a heartbeat. The office staff that handled our reservations and made sure we knew how to reach our mountain getaway were pleasant and knowledgeable. They helped us to pick the cabin that met all of our needs and made the process seemingly effortlessly. We will be returning again and calling upon their services. Thank you for your kindness , care and hospitality and for the wonderful memories we brought home with us.

You guys did an outstanding job! The check in process was incredibly easy and straight-forward! Getting into the cabin was easy and the cabin itself was impeccably clean and organized. The bed was beyond comfortable. Towels and linens were more than ample. Cleaning supplies and paper towels were graciously provided and the cabin/facilities were spotless! There's nothing more I can say than that y'all made it feel like home. Such a comfortable staff to work with and an even more comfortable place to call home for a few days! The balcony provided unforgettable views while the hot tub provided much needed relaxation. As a chef speaking, the kitchen was equipped with more than than the needed supplies. We didn't utilize the Green Egg while we were there: only the charcoal grill located at the end of the driveway (by the cabin), our only suggestion, and the only one, y'all did an awesome job, is level that charcoal grill out...it's bent towards the hill above/roadway. Other than that, it was an awesome experience! Thank y'all so much!

The cabin was beautiful came to the office a couple of time for different things so the staff was friendly and very helpful. The only thing that we wish would have been different was the parking. It was very difficult getting in and out. Specially with someone else in the cabin beside us. But overall the stay was wonderful and will be back. Thank you

This is our third stay in a Hearthside Cabin and we won't go with anyone else! It's always a seamless experience with no issues and great cabins. The only thing I'd mention is the water in Rocky Raccoon smells a little funny, but I don't know what the smell is. It just doesn't smell fresh.

the cabin was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay very much. There are a few things that you might want to know about. There was a leak around the chimney on the outside under the porch. The microwave appears to be on its last leg. It worked, but not the open button would stick, and sometimes it wouldn't turn on. Also the water smells very bad of sulfur, but I don't know if there is anything that can be done about that.

Check in was convenient and fast. The staff was a great resource regarding food delivery and suggestions for auto repair. The chalet provided us with precious memories!

Check in was very convenient! We loved being able to just pull in even though we came in late at night. The cabin was clean and neat. There was one bulb burnt out on the porch, but we found a spare one in the cabin so it wasn't an issue at all! Yes, I would recommend Hearthside to a friend or family member!

The seclusion and the beautiful views were great! This cabin is MORE than beautiful, well worth the cost, the views are amazing and although there is one neighbor close, the cabin still feels soooo secluded. The decor is absolutely rustic and woodsy (this is partly why we picked this cabin and we were not disappointed!) From the beautiful rocker and bed to the decorations and bedding, this place is top of the line. Thank you for a beautiful getaway!

I want to tell you that we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The furnishings are gorgeous and comfortable. We felt safe in our cabin and enjoyed both the Jacuzzi and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever we might need to cook and the wi-fi was great for those times we had our fill of nature. The front porch was wonderful and the trees outside the deck played a nice little melody with every tiny breeze. My husband and I both have extremely stressful and demanding jobs and haven’t taken a vacation all year. I returned to work today with a noticeable better attitude from the rest and relaxation found at Rocky Raccoon! J

My husband and I needed a brief reprieve from our hectic lives of children, pets, school, work, sports and a messy house. This was ideal. The best thing about Rocky Raccoon is that everything is right there and comfortable. No matter what we were doing, my husband and I were still in the same room enjoying each other's company in the peach and quiet with an extraordinary view. The staff/customer service was top notch. Absolutely no complaints there. There is a cabin right next door so it is not "very private", but the way they are positioned, it was not a problem. So it is a private cabin.... I just wouldn't consider it "very" private.... just to not throw off anyone driving up to it expecting something else. We loved it!!!

The online reservation process was easy as well as the check in process. The directions we received to the cabin were excellent. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. It was a great stay.
