About the Pigeon Forge Christmas Lights Tour

Gatlinburg trolley Christmas lights tourEvery year, the Pigeon Forge Christmas Lights Tour takes guests on an enchanted drive along the Pigeon Forge Parkway where guides share stories of both Pigeon Forge history and the popular Winterfest displays. The best part about this tour is that guests are able to see the lights without having to worry about the hassle of driving and dealing with traffic.

All you and your family have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride.

Illuminated displays that can be seen on the Pigeon Forge Christmas Lights Tour includes snowflakes, reindeer, Smoky Mountain wildlife and representations of the 12 Days of Christmas.

The Smoky Mountain Winterfest began 25 years ago to help encourage families and guests to visit the area during the colder months of the year. A joint effort between the cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, as well as Dollywood, the Smoky Mountain Winterfest has quickly become one of the most popular seasonal events in the area.

The Pigeon Forge Christmas Lights Tour is running now through the end of January. Tour times until the end of December are Monday-Friday at 6:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. In January, the tour schedule switches to only Mondays and Fridays with a minimum of 15 passengers per tour.

Admission Prices

Tickets to see the Pigeon Forge Christmas lights on the trolley tour are $5 per person. Parties of 10 or more are asked to please make reservations and pay in advance with a money order or a cashiers check.

Parking for the Pigeon Forge Christmas Lights is located at the same place where the tour begins, at the Pigeon Forge Trolley station near The Old Mill and Patriot Park.
