Indian Dreams

Had stayed with Hearthside before and knew how well they ran their operation. We booked Indian Dreams and were very pleased. Newer properties than most and very clean. This cabin has two equal bedrooms each with large jacuzzi tub and a separate shower on the opposite ends of the cabin. Would be great for most pets as they have a large enclosed deck on the rear. Also would work well for wheelchair / walker / handicapped / limited mobility folks as, unlike most cabins here, all is on one level with a ramp available at the front door. Will continue to book with this company. TN Paul, Nashville, TN -- August 17, 2007

Stardust
Thanks! Especially thanks from Louie, our mini-schnauzer, who was very grateful you allowed him to come to the mountains with us! March 2007
Absolutely Breathtaking
The cabin was great, my family loved it, the gravel drive up was a little scary to my oldest (she's 5) (editor's note: the driveway has since been paved & is wonderful!), but we loved every minute of the stay and especially the gorgeous view. July 2007
 Stairway to Heaven

The cabin was absolutely beautiful!!! I can't say enough about it. It was so clean, neat, and just the most beautiful place to spend a couple of days relaxing. (That sure is one big hill!!! :) We will certainly recommend you to our friends and family. Thank you again for such a lovely place -- June 2007

Tennessee Treasure
My family and I wanted to let know just how much we enjoyed the stay at the Tennessee Treasures cabin. We were there for seven fantastic days . The cabin was fabulous!! We bring two families together once or twice a year and this was perfect. We have been coming to the mountains for about 20 years and this is the first year that I didn't have any major complaints. There are no other agencies that can compare with ya'll in my book. A few more pots and pans would be nice, along with a few plastic bowls. Mr. & Mrs. C. Spitler and family -- July 2007
Windsong
Windsong is a wonderful chalet and would not change anything. Thanks for a wonderful trip. Donald & Glenda - Oneonta, AL - 5/30/07
Bluff Splendor
Our friend got married and she found you guys. Office staff was excellent -- very helpful! The best part of the stay was the comfort of staying in a "home". Bluff Splendor is fantastic -- beautifully furnished and well taken care of. The Williams, Nashville, TN -- 06/17/07
Absolutely Breathtaking
We loved being away from all of the hustle and bustle of town. I loved the overall experience and will definitely do it again. The cabin is beautifully set in the mountains and everything was very warm and comfortable. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. The Hendersons, OH -- June 2007
Dreams Come True
We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was very relaxing for us and everything was available for our choice, being the hot-tub, Jacuzzi, cable tv. It felt just like home and had a homey atmosphere. It was nice to sit out on the porch and still have your privacy from others. Thank you for all your help in getting us set up at the last minute. Thanks to you girls in the office upon our arrival for additional questions about other things besides our cabin, you were all friendly, laughing and putting us in a good mood to start our vacation. We appreciate each of you from the start to the end of our stay. Have a great summer. The Lindseys, Albertville, AL
Autumn Colors
We really enjoyed our stay in your cabin. I actually cried when we left because I did not want to leave. We are going to try and come back down in September. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your little piece of heaven!
Campfire Memories
The cabin really was adorable and the location was perfect! This awesome was everything we wanted and more. The seclusion and the extreme mountain views were even better than expected. This cabin was so spacious we never had any problems with our family group at all. Very well decorated and easy to settle into. Thank you for providing such a gorgeous place. The Mikles Gang - Guntersville, AL - July 2007
Little Bear Lodge

We liked the friendly staff and cozy cabin. You guys are so friendly and accommodating. You're doing a great job at making customers feel welcome. The cabin was well decorated and we enjoyed the mountain setting very much. The pool table was great and so was the super hot tub! Thank you. The Lowes - July 2007

Endless View
We liked the fact that this cabin was close to town, but not being too close to the other cabins. The view was really incredible. I hated the steep rocky road to the cabin, but finally got used to it! It was worth the drive for that fabulous experience. The Webbs, Hazard, KY
Southern Comfort
It was great just being able to relax. Thank you so much. This cabin is spacious and soothing, and we loved the setting. We will be back again soon. The Poes, Cincinnati, OH
Mountain Sunrise
We stayed at your cabin "Mountain Sunrise" this weekend (10/24 - 10/28/07)......our first time to stay in a cabin and what a wonderful visit! The cabin was awesome! It was very clean...plenty of everything! The view was spectacular. I can't find any faults..... We will never visit a hotel again! Next year when we come I would like to bring my parents and our dog and see what you have in a 4-bedroom, pet friendly. I will recommend you to others!
Thanks again for an unforgetable weekend
The Chaneys -- October 24-28, 2007
Dreamcatcher

Please tell the owners that we had a wonderful time and their cabin is beautiful. We live in Louisiana and we needed to get away from all of the Katrina aftermath. We appreciate the hospitality that everyone showed. The Parkers, Covington, LA, April 2007

Bear Watch
This was our first experience staying somewhere other than a hotel. We will definitely return to Hearthside rentals and hopefully rent Bear Watch again. The first drive up was an adventure, but after we were used to it we enjoyed it. The Hills, Guntersville, AL
The Oaks
I just want to say keep doing what you all are doing. Me and my family had such a wonderful time we still cannot stop talking about it. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Topeeka & Family - June 2007
Dreamcatcher

We contacted Hearthside Cabins directly and found them to be very friendly and of great service to us. We described how many were comming (6 ladies - ages 53 - 84) and that we wanted the best views of the smokies. They told us of the "Dreamcatcher Cabin" 3 br and 2 bath. 8 person hot tub. We used the tub every nite. Even the tub has great views of the mountains. Every room has incredible views. The views are 180 degrees to the west. Morning mist rises in the valley below and kisses you as it rises. As the sun rises behind the cabin, it creates breathtaking color changes on the mountains. There are sliding doors from every room to the double decks. You are on top of the mountain yet are only 15 minutes to light 10 in Pigeon Forge. We could not have asked for more. Whip o" Whils sang for us each morning and nite. Coyotes were also heard in the mountains. Cabins were near by but did not interfere with the view or seemed too close. We took advantage of the special of staying 4 nites and getting the 4th nite free. We stayed before memorial day and the rates were less than hotels in town. Bedrooms are downstairs with washer/dryer. Bathrooms are of good size. Kitchen well equipped. There is satellite TV for those who still need something to watch other than the mountains and the wildlife. The only thing to remember is that you are on top of the mountain. We had a 15 passenger van and the drive to the top of the mountain can be a little scary but after a couple of times - no problem. Would not suggest anyone with an RV or pull along try to go up the mountain. We chose to not drive it after dark - OK with me, I was the driver - more time at the cabin. I think that you will find the Dreamcatcher cabin everything you are looking for in a mountain top cabin.

We have never stayed in a cabin before and our stay with you far exceeded our expectations. This cabin was spacious and well furnished. The huge yard right by the creek was lots of fun to explore. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! The Lanes, Arizona -- April 2007

We had a good visit and it was very nice...arrived late Saturday and the young lady working the desk was very nice and helpful and I want to thank you for being pleasant and good to do business with. Our stay was very relaxing and we felt right at home. Thank you so much for your service. The cabin was spacious for our whole group and very convenient to town. Alma S., MS -- May 2007
Indian Dreams
We were completely blown away by "Indian Dreams," the decor of the cabin was fantastic!! Pool table was OK, but really took away from the look of everything else there! The staff at Hearthside was FANTASTIC!!!! Check-in could not have been easier, simply go to the cabin to acquire the key. Not sure it could have been any easier. The rooms were very spacious and the two master suites were great. I am sure we will be calling you again, and recommending you to our friends and family!! Thank you for a wonderful trip!!!! Andy & Valerie M, GA -- June 2007
Little Bear Lodge

ROMANTIC HIDEAWAY

Posted on 7:40 am, June 10, 2007 --
I just wish we could have done it all but in a week this impossible. This trip was on of our best. Let me set the stage. Hubby 65 and myself 57. Not as in shape as we thought we were.

Loved out cabin. Romantic Hideaway through Hearthside Rentals. Fine for 2 people and very confortable. Pet Friendly.

We got in on Sunday afternoon. It was raining most of the way there so decided not to go to Dollywood that evening. We decided to go to the Comedy Barn that evening. It was a great show and we were back early.
Monday we got up and headed out early to go horse back riding. My backside and legs sure did hurt though. It was a fun ride but I hurt for two days. Can you tell I am out of shape. I am not a big person. Only 5'2" and am not over weight by more than 10lbs. Hubby was fine. It was a one hour ride along water and around the lower part of the mountain. Beautiful!!!!!! We went back to the cabin after that and relaxed. At 1:30 we went to the Old Mill area and went into the shops there. At 3:00 we went to Dollywood. The shows there are WONDERFUL. Actually Dollywood is a lot better than Bush Gardens or Kings Dominion. We left there at 7:00 which is closing time. Back to the cabin for the evening. Be sure to get a schedule of the shows. Every day one of the shows is closed. We would have missed one of the best shows had we not paid attention to that. Loved the 50's show at Dreamland. We saw it the first day but would have missed it on the second day as they were off that day.
Tuesday we spent most of the day at Dollywood. If you go after 3:00 one day you can get in the next day for the same price. It's like a 1/2 day free. That afternoon is rained while we were in a show but had stopped by the time we got out. We were back to the cabin and in the hot tub by 4:30. Spent the evening in the cabin.
Wednesday we left EARLY to go to Grotto Falls. While we were driving we saw a sign for another water fall so we decided to hike to see it. 2.6 miles along a stream. Yeah RIGHT!!!! We were about .6 from where we thought the waterfalls was and met some hikers who told us it's 2.6 miles to the TRAIL to the waterfalls then another 6 MILES to the falls. We turned around at that point and headed back down the Mt.
We drove to Grotto Falls to see the one we had planed to go to in the first place. That was about a mile and a half. We were so tried from the other hike it was struggle to get there but well worth it. Climbing uphill on a trail up the mt. better be worth it. It's a beautiful waterfall and you can walk behind it. By the time we got down we were running behind. We had to drive back to Pigeon Forge and get ready to go to Dixie Stampead that night. We had to be there by 4:15 and we made it by the skin of our teeth.
Dixie Stampede. We had our confirmation number and got to the window. The lady typed in the number and couldn't find us. Got our name and typed it in. Ummm, I was getting worried. She looked at us and told us our tickets were for the night before. I knew then they had typed it in wrong when I called them cause I had scheduled us day by day for the whole trip. It only showed me we were not the ones who made the mistake. I was very careful to schedule this trip day by day. I believe she realized it when I showed her my typed schedule. She said she would see what she could do. After about 15 minuties they found us seats. The seats were WONDERFUL. Dinner was great. For dinner we had Cheese Bisket, Cream Veggie Soup (wonderful), bbq pork, huge potato wedge, corn on the cob, whole chicken, apple turnover. There were 1,097 people and there were several seatings a night. I don't know how they feed that many people at one time but we all got our food at the same time. There looked to be one server per around 30 people. The show was amazing. There had be a pre show in another area before the main show.
Thursday. We left early in the morning and drove to Cades Cove. It's a wonderful loop drive in the mountains. We didn't get to see any bear but we did see other wild life. We had planned to go to Gatlinburg and spend the rest of the day but that morning I had gotten something in my eye. I could see by now my eye was not getting any better so even though I suffered through Cades Cove it meant not being able to go into Gatlinburg and mess around. To the Dr. we headed. I had to wait over an hour once we found a Dr. It seems I had somehow scratched my eye in two places. Had to get drops and also take an antibotic. That turned out to be a less than perfect day for us. We got icecream in the evening and hit the hot tub as we were both very sore from the hiking and horseback riding.
Friday. We decided to drive to Cherokee in N.C. The drive was awsome!!!!! Oh My what pretty scenery. We took a tour of the reservation. All who live there are Indian. There was a festival going on but we decided to get back to Gatlinburg and spend some time there. Of course by the time we got back there the time was running out. One of the things we did that was so much fun was playing Hill Billy Golf. Imagine riding a roll a coaster car in slow motion up the side of a Mountain. Somehow they had build a miniature golf course on the side of the mountain. It was so much fun. Once you finished you could ride back down the side of the mountain. We went back to the cabin and I did laundry and started packing.

The cabin was every bit as nice as we saw in the pictures. We in the MOUNTAINS that's for sure.
Sat morning ate breakfast and left by 9am. Stopped at a flea market and made several other stops on the way home. Arrived home around 5pm.
Thanks to everyone who gave us tips. There was so much more to see and do that we didn't have time for. -- Connie, Harrisburg, VA -- June 2007

Hanky Panky
Just wanted to tell you how much we appreciated our stay at the cabin. We stayed in Hanky Panky and it was beautiful. The hot tub was welcome every night after our busy sightseeing days. The cabin was decorated beautifully and made us feel very welcomed. We will certainly stay there again. Thank you all for making our vacation a success. Charlie & JoAnn Harrington -- July 2007
Bear-Rific View
-Our family of 5 rented the Bear-riffic cabin the week on Aug 20-24 and enjoyed it very much. The cabin is only 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge but feels miles away (quiet). The road getting to the cabin is ridiculously steep in places, but, it's amazing how quickly we got used to it. Great view, clean, nice kitchen, 2 BR, 2 bath, has a great deck, hot tub, game room...very comfortable. People are Hearthside were very easy to work with and helpful. No complaints. We had a great time.- review copied from tripadvisor.com travel rating reviews.http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g55270-d641509-r8504726-Hearthside_Cabin_Rentals-Pigeon_Forge_Tennessee.html
Sweet Seclusion

When we were searching for a cabin for our vacation, there were so many places, and not many reviews. HearthSide Cabin Rentals caught my eye, but I could not find much information on them. We stayed in Sweet Seclusion , a wonderful 1 bedroom cabin. It was clean and comfy. The jacuzzi tub was incredible, plenty big for both of us. In fact, because it was cold while we were there, we used the jacuzzi tub almost every night. We only got in the hot tub once! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. It is at the base of the mountain, so no birds eye views, but it was beautiful just the same. Louisville, KY - February 2007 -- review copied from tripadvisor.com travel rating reviews.
