FANTASTIC, COZY VACATION PROPERTY --
This cabin was easy to get to from Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge,
offering a convenient but private place to stay during our visit. There
was no hassle getting into the cabin since the keys were kept in a lockbox
on site, allowing us to arrive when it fit best in our schedule. Because
of its privacy, we never felt disturbed by any other visitors (or that
we might disturb anyone else). Everything was in good, clean order when
we got there, and all the necessaries in the cabin were easy to find
and use.
Although the property itself was difficult to get to at first because
of the steep, sheer cut of the cliff on which it stands, once we learned
how to navigate the road it wasn't problematic at all... we actually
ended up laughing about it a lot by the end of our visit (in the positive,
fun sense!). The seclusion, privacy, and comfort of the cabin absolutely
made the trek up the drive worthwhile. And the height of the cabin's
perch made for a lovely view out over the forest, which wouldn't have
been available if the building had been situated lower down the hill.
The nice furniture and ammenities were all in wonderful condition,
making a nice retreat where we could rest after our excursions into
Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The bed was both roomy and comfortable,
and the half bath upstairs meant that a midnight bathroom break was
absolutely convenient (no tripping down the dark stairs for us!). The
kitchen/living room area had a nice set-up that flowed naturally into
the jacuzzi tucked below the stairs, with a full downstairs bathroom
that was comfortable and clean. All in all, a very well laid-out floor
plan that took impressive advantage of its limited size.
Altogether, the comforts this cabin offered made for a fantastic visit.
We were conveniently located between the three locations we visited,
with enough seclusion to leave the city behind for a while after exciting,
exhausting days. We definitely look forward to returning again!
