We had a really good time and were very pleased with everything we had
at the cabin. Next time we would like to be a little closer to the main
part of Pigeon Forge. However, we did not mind where we were this time.
Thanks for everything and we'll be sure to tell everyone we know about
you if they plan on coming to Tennessee. Susan L. |

to stay with HearthSide. Comments or Suggestions: Your home page and the pictures of the cabins are better then any other site that I have seen. |
| 3/2009 | MOUNTAIN MAGIC -- This was the third year that we have rented the Eagle's Nest. My wife first found this property while searching for secluded cabin rentals in the Pigeon Forge area where we could celebrate our anniversary. The Eagle's Nest was perfect! We had everything we needed and/or wanted, including near-total seclusion. The views from this cabin are truly breathtaking, and the serenity is just what the doctor ordered when you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We do all of our own cooking, so we bring everything we need for each trip. And, that has proven to be a good plan as the weather is somewhat unpredictable in the early spring. We had rain, sleet, snow & ice the past two years! So, the road can get very slippery. We have never had any major problems during our stays. But, when issues did arise, the staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful, and resolved the issues quickly. Another big reason that we initially chose the Eagle's Nest was because it is "pet friendly". We have a small Pug, and do not want to have to kennel her. Pets are welcome here with small pet fee , and that makes this cabin even more attractive. The cabin has a heat pump, electric fireplaces, satellite TV (for those who need to stay current on their favorite TV programs), a very nice kitchen (including a dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, and silverware), a propane barbeque grill and lots of sleeping space. It also has a wonderful hot tub on the back porch which helps you to unwind while enjoying terrific scenery or fantastic night skies. One note: if you're going to be preparing your own meals, be sure to bring your favorite brand of dishwashing detergent. The cabin does come with a small supply for the dishwasher, but not enough for an extended stay. Bottom Line: the Eagle's Nest is a wonderful cabin. However, if you
do not like seclusion, or want to be close to town, this may not be your
best selection. But, if you want to get away, this is the perfect cabin
for you!! |
| 2/2009 | INCREDIBLE VIEW -- SERIOUSLY PEACEFUL -- We loved the cabin. Very easy to find (just go to the top and look right). Very well taken care of. We enjoyed walking the top of the mountain (are there any other cabins up there? - LOL). Thanks for accepting pets. |
| 3/2009 | PERFECT VACATION -- We recently stayed at this wonderful cabin and it
was my first time of a cabin experience. There were 6 of us that stayed
, We had plenty of room and lots of things to choose from to do. I would
highly recommend anyone to stay here. The staff at check-in time was absolutely
wonderful and very helpful with all our questions. My mother is unable to get around very well but this was a very nice place for her to be in and could enjoy without worry of getting in anyone's way. I greatly appreciate the chance to stay here and will return to HearthSide Cabin Rentals.. |
