| 4/2009 | The staff at the rental office went over and beyond for our needs when we arrived; we had some car troubles along the way and they were more than willing to loan tools and also drove us to the auto parts store so that we could fix our car. We were very thankful for this because it was an unfamiliar area and it was getting dark. |

was reservation process besides being RELAXING Comments or Suggestions: Normally I would have passed cabin over simply because it was in a "resort" however I am glad we didn't it was great to have the benefits if wanted of being in a resort (ex. gated, pool, etc...) but the cabins weren't on top of each other. |

This is our second experience with Hearthside Cabin Rentals and I am very pleased with you all. Your company is so very organized and make the checking in and out so painless. We had a problem with the fireplace not working and someone came very quickly and addressed the problem. I will certainly recommend HearthSide Cabin Rentals. Thank you so very much, |

We had to delay our travel plans by one day because we got caught in a snow storm before we arrived, but they were very accommodating, allowing us to push our reservation back one day, as to not lose a night. We truly enjoyed our stay and even managed to navigate the steep drive into the cabin. That was our only drawback the entire week. The parking area could be enlarged in order for an easier turn around. We chose to back down the steep drive way to the road which is a bit of distance. The service that was provided by Hearthside Cabin Rentals was really great. We arrived on a Sunday and the refrigerator was not working. After a call to the office, they sent someone out to take care of it that evening. Thanks Hearthside for a great week- we will rent from you again. We had a visitor of some type a couple of nights who tried to get the lid off the garbage can, but, we won out. The weather was perfect, warm with cool nights. Thus, the pool was not utilized but once during our stay by our son and granddaughter. The water was cold even for our granddaughter. But, there are plenty of things to keep you occupied in the area and at BENEATH THE STARS. · By Jo Ann from Jeffersonville, IN

| 4/18/2010 | " Enjoyed our Spring Break!" This cabin has a great view! We enjoyed the cabin, other than we did have a concern with the driveway. Between the angle of the driveway and the narrow road, it wasn't the easiest to turn into. Hearthside Cabin Rentals are great to deal with and do take care of any concerns as soon as they are brought to their attention. Our phone wasn't working and it was taken care of right away. We highly recommend Hearthside for rentals of their cabins. |
| 12/2009 | 4 of 5 Beautiful The cabin was wonderful! It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and the view was stunning. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in the door. There was plenty of space for our family of six to spread out. The kids loved playing with the game table and having a tv all to themselves downstairs. We all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evenings, it was a nice way to relax after a long day. We had a problem with the air conditioning when we arrived. We adjusted the thermostat for the main and second floors, but we were unable to find a thermostat for the bottom floor. After much searching we called the office to find out where it was; unfortunately they were unable to tell us and had to send someone from maintenance. The bunk beds have to be pulled away from the wall to adjust the thermostat. Another issue was the STEEP driveway. It has since been noted in the description of the cabin, but when I made my reservations it was not mentioned. We were unable to make it all the way to the top with our van which left a rather difficult walk for us. It definitely put a damper on our vacation. Four-wheel drive would be a plus. I would still recommend this cabin even though I don't think we will be returning. · By KYgirl from Kentucky |
