| 7/23/2008 | We always enjoy our stay at Hearthside cabins. The check-in process is so easy and the cabins are beautiful and very clean. The web-site pictures are not deceiving at all. When you view the properties on line you can see exactly what they look like so you are not disappointed when you arrive. We especially appreciate Gina in the office and all the other girls have been so helpful as well. Everytime we call the office it is like talking to family. Can't think of anything that would have improved our stay because everything you would need is provided. I would highly recommend Hearthside Cabin Rentals to family and friends. | 8/11/2008 | What did you like best about your stay? everything This cabin is absolutely awesome. excellent location,like new condition, user friendly. we have stayed in many different cabins in the smokies but this cabin by far was the best of all. | 10/3/2008 | What did you like best about your stay? hot tub and pool table Comments or Suggestions: this was the first family vacation we've taken with our parents in 4 years and thanks to the wonderful accomodations and beautiful scenery of the great smokies it was a great success! We really enjoyed the cabin and all of the ammenities. This was the nicest house we have ever stayed in and we just couldn't believe how many of them were available to choose from. Our hot tub wasn't working when we got there, but the lady at the office was so nice when i reported it and had someone out the next morning on a saturday. Everyone I called and spoke with at hearth side went above and beyond for customer service. I will certainly reccommend you to anyone going to visit Gatlinburg! We couldn't be more pleased. | 3/2009 | MOST BEAUTIFUL CABIN EVER -- 1/1 found this review helpful We visited the Smokys in March 2009. We have previously always stayed with Jackson Mountain Homes in Gatlinburg, but we decided to venture away to Hearthside because of the beauty and amenities of Bearly Paradise. It was everything we expected and more. The view from downstairs was partially obstructed by a neighbor, but was still magnificent. Upstairs you had a clear view every morning of the beautiful Smokys. There are tv's with satellite in every bedroom, even though the website doesn't show them. It was decorated wonderfully and we felt right at home. The screened porch with the hot tub and the very comfortable rockers were so nice when there were a couple of warmer days. The screen kept the gnats out. The swing on the front porch was very nice. We really enjoyed the fireplace downstairs and the jacuzzi tub in the king bedroom. The king bedroom is huge and the cabin is outfitted with everything you need to be comfortable. The water heaters must be huge, because there were three of us and even if we were all using hot water at the same time, it never ran out. We took walks around the community every morning and the yard was large. We had a couple of maintenance issues when we first got there, but they were taken care of within an hour after we called. The maintenance man was very friendly and knowledgeable too. The only issue I had at all with Hearthside was before we arrived. I had a couple of questions about the cabin regarding the tv's and satellite service and they couldn't be answered. I called back again with the same questions on other days and talked with 3 or 4 others, and still know one knew the answers. Previously with Jackson Mountain, I had some of these same types of questions for them. If they didn't know the answers, they found out and contacted me with those answers. Otherwise, Hearthside was great and I would stay with them again. |
| 4/2009 | COZY CABIN -- It was the first time I had stayed in a cabin. We usually stay in hotels. It was more than I had imagined. It was very roomy. It was a warm and wonderful experience. We had a great time. My family enjoyed playing pool. The only problem we had was the sofa bed. It really needs to be replaced. We got by without using it. I am looking forward to returning. |
