best thing about the stay was time to relax and the BIG TV We had something, that got into the garbage every night, never did see it , but it sure would make a mess, it must have been something like a coon- it sure was rough on the can with it’s teeth and clause… (it was raccoons) Had a great time, probably see you this fall when we come up there and beat TENNESSEE HA HA Tommy & Judy M. “”ROLL TIDE“” |
| 8/17/2008 | What did you like best about your stay? Peaceful (minus the construction),
and the decor of the cabin is beautiful! We LOVED the fact there was a washer/dryer (which I made sure was in the advert before booking) and that the cabin was pet friendly. The Bear Decor was beautiful! The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! The location was wonderful! We split our time between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so the location being right in between was perfect! A lot of comments were written about the lack of cleaniness from months before. We didn't encounter that issue -- we would give housekeeping a "5" out of possible "5" score.. There was normal dust buildup in the jaquzi (which we didn't need anyway) and we found a few bugs (but being not far away, we're used to and expect that). Otherwise, I thought the cabin was in good shape and we were very pleased. |

I enjoyed the craft fair in Gatlinburg, and we all enjoyed our 5 mile round trip hike to Abrams Falls in Cades Cove. Our Scotties enjoyed themselves just being with us and going for walks. |

| 12/18/08 | What did you like best about your stay? the cabin was very clean and did not smell musty like some... the hot tub was greenish/yellow which was disappointing and reaked of Bleach. We loved the huge sofa and television! The kitchen could have been stocked better, but overall it was a nice, clean cabin! |

at least once a year. I would love to live in the Smoky Mountain area when
I retire one day. I will stay with hearth side on my next trip to the Smokys
